Top tamale

St. Francis Center will be hosting their fourth-annual tamale fundraiser, “Top Tamale.” Low-income families served through the center’s family well-being program established the event as an effort to raise funds for the program.

This year, St. Francis Center hopes to raise $20,000 in support of their fresh produce pantry services in Los Angeles. Donations support nearly 900 low-income families who are members of the centers weekly pantry service.

The last day to place an order is Dec. 15. Tamales can be ordered by mail, St. Francis Center, 1835 S. Hope St., LA, CA 90015, online at www.sfcla.org, or by calling (213) 747-5347. Pick-up dates are Dec. 12, 13, 19, 20 and 24.
