Pax Christi Southern California is inviting the public to join them 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, in their ongoing efforts to urge California voters to help end the death penalty by voting “yes” on Proposition 62, which will be on the ballot this November.

If passed, Prop 62 would repeal the death penalty as a maximum punishment in California, and replace it with life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. Actor Mike Farrell will join Auxiliary Bishop David O’Connell for a live video broadcast from Holy Family Church in South Pasadena starting at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 24, to encourage local residents, community groups and congregations to participate.

Participants may watch the live stream via holyfamily.org/livestream, or go to Holy Family, located at 1527 Fremont Ave., South Pasadena, and plot out the neighborhoods they will be canvassing. For questions or to RSVP, call (323) 225-4461, x. 111, or email info@StCamillusCenter.
