Deacon Ralph Ulibarri
Deacon Ralph Ulibarri died Thursday, July 30, 2020. Deacon Ralph was ordained for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 1995, and served at three parishes in the San Pedro region: St. Catherine Laboure in Torrance, Holy Family in Wilmington, and Nativity in Torrance. He also served on the Deacon Council for 12 years, with 2 years as president.
Deacon Ralph enjoyed prison ministry, especially his work with the youth at Central Juvenile Hall. He also loved parish ministry, presiding at vigils, gravesides, and baptizing children into the life of the Church.
Deacon Ralph and his wife Maxine relocated to Arizona in 2013, where he continued his diaconal ministry at St. Theresa Church in Phoenix.
