rnFather Arturo Corral gave a blessing during the 235th anniversary celebration of the City of Los Angeles held on Aug. 27 in Downtown Los Angeles. He was among scores of guests on hand for the celebration.Father Corral is pastor of Our Lady Queen of Angels Church — also known as “La Placita” Church — which is located near historic Olvera Street. La Placita was the first church building erected in the city of Los Angeles.
