In the beautiful scene of the transfiguration, we see what every heart longs to see. We see the glory of God in the face of Jesus. We see our destiny and the path we are meant to follow in our lives.

The transfiguration is a sign of Jesus' resurrection. As we contemplate and reflect on the transfiguration of our Lord Jesus Christ, our reaction must be the same as the Apostles: total happiness. Because we know that Jesus is with us all the time.

He is with us when sometimes we cannot feel God's presence or his love. He is with us when we are having difficulty finding purpose in our lives.

So let us ask for the grace to keep in mind, no matter what, that God is with us.
