Monsignor William H. Stetson died Thursday, January 3, 2019. He was a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei. After his ordination in 1962, Msgr. Stetson served in Rome and Spain, and then across the U.S. in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and many other cities. For 17 years, he was the Vicar of Opus Dei for the Midwest. When he came to Los Angeles in 2011, Msgr. Stetson carried out pastoral work at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels and was a confessor at St. John’s Seminary.
