St. John Bosco, the top-ranked high school team in the nation, captured the Trinity League title Nov. 27 with a commanding 63-10 win over Bishop Amat. Up 21-3 at halftime, the undefeated St. John Bosco Braves amped things up to an even higher level in the second half, exploding for 28 points in the third quarter and another 14 in the fourth.

Bosco senior quarterback Quentin Davis threw for four touchdowns, three of which were reeled in by senior wideout Devin Fleming, and added another on the ground. The Braves' defense was just as dominant, as junior defensive lineman Jacob Callier scored back-to-back defensive touchdowns in the third quarter, and sophomore Stephan Blaylock returned an interception for a score in the fourth.

As many predicted would happen prior to the start of the season, Bosco will play Centennial, the nation's second-ranked high school team, for the Pac 5 Championship at Angels Stadium in Anaheim Dec. 5.
