Eight boys’ volleyball players from local Catholic high schools received All-CIF Southern Section first team honors in their respective divisions for 2019.
Selected by the CIF-SS Boys Volleyball Coaches' Association, and presented by the LA84 Foundation, the first-team honorees included:
- Division 1: Senior Will Campbell and juniors Luke Turner and Henry Wedbush, all from Loyola.
- Division 2: Senior Mason Briggs of Alemany.
- Division 4: Seniors Aidan Grosz and Nicky Miraji of St. Anthony, and senior Cole Carr of Paraclete
- Division 6: Senior Nick Unger of Don Bosco Tech.
