Reverend Monsignor Andrew Stanislaus Tseu died Monday, October 1, 2019. Monsignor Tseu, born in Shangai, China in 1925, was ordained in 1956 in Denver, Colorado. He served as the pastor at St. Madeleine Church in Pomona, and the associate pastor at many parishes, including Mary Star of the Sea, St. Joseph, St. Cornelius, and St. Maria Goretti.

Rev. Monsignor Andrew Tseu was the youngest child of Papal Knight Matthew Tseu and Anna Wang. He was born on November 25, 1925 and graduated from St. Ignatius College, Shanghai, China. He came to the United States and entered St. Thomas Seminary, Denver, Colorado in 1950 and was ordained in 1956. He retired on June 30, 2001.  Monsignor Tseu’s family was converted to Catholicism by Father Matteo Ricci (1552-1610), an Italian Jesuit and founder of the Catholic missions in China.Monsignor Tseu had two priest brothers – the late Monsignor Augustinus and Father Paul.
