With a heavy heart and deep sadness, but also faith and hope in our Risen Lord, we announce the passing of Deacon Ray Chris Emnace, beloved husband and father, on July 18, 2026. He was 63 years old.
Ray was born in Los Angeles. He was married for nearly 30 years to his wonderful wife Sandra who preceded him in death in 2021. Together they raised two amazing daughters, Ariana and Rosalina.
Ray was ordained a deacon on August 22, 2020 and served faithfully at Holy Trinity Church, Los Angeles assisting with liturgy, baptisms, youth ministry, vocations, prayer groups and many other ministries. He worked in restaurant and building construction. In 2024, he was appointed as Regional Assistant for the San Fernando Region where he assisted Bishop Bahhuth and provided support to the clergy and parishes throughout the region. Deacon Ray is survived by his daughters, Ariana and Rosalina, mother Lydia, and brother Ricojohn.
Services will take place at Holy Trinity Church, 3722 Boyce Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90039.
Vigil Service: Friday, July 31, 2026, at 6 p.m.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 12 p.m.
Internment will take place privately at a later date.
