Reverend Julio Cesar Ramos Ortega, M.G., died Thursday, June 6, 2024. He was 51 years old.
Fr. Julio was a religious order priest who was ordained on July 14, 2001, for the Guadalupe Missioners. While serving in the Archdiocese these were his assignments:
- Associate Pastor, St. Paul Church, Los Angeles
- Associate Pastor, St. Joseph the Worker Church, Winnetka
- Pastor, St. Martha Church, Huntington Park
- Pastor, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, El Monte
Funeral services were held last week Tlaquepaque, Jalisco. A memorial Mass will be celebrated by the Superior General of the Misioneros de Guadalupe on Tuesday evening, June 11, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (La Lupita), 11359 Coffield Avenue, El Monte, CA 91731, at 7 p.m.
