Reverend Joaquin C. Haefeli died Friday, July 15, 2022. He was 96 years old.
Fr. Joaquin was ordained a priest on April 28, 1951 for the Congregation of the Passion, and he was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Los Angeles on March 6, 1997. While serving as a priest, these were his assignments:

- Senior Priest, Resident, St. Ignatius Loyola Church, Los Angeles

A rosary service will be held Monday, August 8, 2022 at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 6024 Terrace Dr., Los Angeles, at 10 a.m.
Funeral Mass will be held August 8 at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow funeral Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5835 West Slauson Ave., Culver City.
