A funeral Mass was celebrated on May 17 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Canoga Park for Father Jeffrey J. Deikel who died April 27. Internment followed the funeral Mass at San Fernando Mission Cemetery and Mausoleum, 11160 Stranwood Avenue, Mission Hills.
Father Jeffrey J. Deikel was a priest of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles for 40 years.
