Vol. 4 | No. 13

A permanent shrine for Trinity Love Jones was dedicated inside St. John Vianney Church in Hacienda Heights March 31. The murdered 9-year-old wasn’t Catholic and didn’t live anywhere near Hacienda Heights. But after her abandoned body was discovered in a duffle bag last month, local faith leaders quickly came together to pay tribute to her life and pray for her with a special interfaith memorial service. On page 14, Tom Hoffarth reports on how a shocked community is benefiting from the special mission that Trinity fulfilled in her short life.
