On Feb. 29, St. Lucy’s Priory High School in Glendora will host a Student Leadership Day for The Association of Catholic Student Councils (TACSC) to foster leadership skills in middle school students, preparing youth to serve in a wide variety of faith-filled leadership development programs.
More than 200 students are expected to participate in the event, which will feature workshops that cover a range of topics, including identifying strengths, project planning, finding a life-work balance and diversity. Students will also compete for prizes using conflict management skills and by exploring group dynamics in organized game activities.
St. Lucy’s, Damien High School in La Verne and Pomona Catholic High School are organizers for the event.
