An image of Our Lady of Guadalupe that began its annual pilgrimage through Southern California in October will make several more parish stops in the coming weeks, visiting all five pastoral regions of the archdiocese. The pilgrimage honors the 486th anniversary of the Marian apparitions to St. Juan Diego.

The image will make its next stop Nov. 21-22 at St. Louis of France Church in La Puente, followed by stops at: Dolores Mission Church in Boyle Heights on Nov. 23; St. Anthony Church in San Gabriel on Nov. 25; St. Andrew Church in Pasadena on Dec. 1; and at Our Lady of Solitude Church in Los Angeles on Dec. 2.

This year also marks the 86th anniversary of the procession and Mass held in honor of the feast of Guadalupe. The oldest religious procession in Los Angeles — which was established by Mexican Catholics who fled the Cristero War in 1931 — will conclude at Weingart Stadium in East Los Angeles College on Dec. 3.
