On Thursday, August 9, Loyola Marymount University will launch its 2018 C3 Technology Conference, with the theme “New Missionary Road: Navigating the Digital Continent.”
The 3-day event is open to all. Thursday and Saturday will feature faith and technology-based workshops, focusing on everything from social media use in evangelization to optimizing your parish website.
On Friday, Innovation Day, participants will learn about new industry technologies and innovations happening in our own parishes and schools. The Sprint robot PEPPER will be at LMU to interact with attendees.
The event closes on Saturday at 4 p.m., with Mass celebrated by Archbishop José H. Gomez. The homily will be given by Father Brendan McGuire, a pastoral technology innovator.
