On April 28, Father Thomas C. Anslow, CM, died on April 28, after more than 40 years of service to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He was 71-years-old.

Father Anslow served as a canon lawyer beginning in 1996 and continuing until 2015, when he was forced by his illness to take a leave of absence. Holding a Ph.D. in philosophy from the   University of Toronto and a licentiate in canon law from Catholic University Leuven in Belgium, Father Anslow served the archdiocese as a staff canonist, judge and vicar for canonical services.

rnThe funeral was held at St. Vincent Church in Los Angeles on May 4. The internment took place at Calvary Cemetery in Whittier.
