Operation Sacred Heart: The special plan to consecrate the US for its 250th birthday
Vol. 11, No. 11
On the cover: On June 11, the Catholic bishops of the United States will formally consecrate the country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus ahead of its 250th birthday a month later. Why are they doing it, and what does such a consecration mean? On Page 10, Mike Aquilina finds answers in the Gospels and the history of the Church to help it all make sense.
