Vol. 3, No. 43

December 21, 2018

A family opens presents delivered by Archbishop José H. Gomez and fellow Adopt-A-Family volunteers on Saturday, Dec. 15, at a home in downtown Los Angeles. For our Christmas issue, Angelus News followed a few of the many local Catholics focusing on giving, rather than receiving, this Christmas. On page 10, Bob Dellinger tells the story of how Angelus News unwittingly became a part of one struggling family’s Christmas miracle, with help from an East LA Catholic school principal. On page 16, a worthy group of young Catholic school students are treated to a special day in return for their own generosity.
