Saint of the day: Chaeromon
St. Chaeromon was bishop of Nilopolis in Egypt. When Emperor Trajanus Decius began persecuting Christians, Chaeromon was very old. He and several companions fled into the desert and were never seen again. The Church remembers the bishop and his companions as martyrs.
