Last month, St. Lucy’s Priory High School Chamber Singers traveled to London, England, to perform at the London International Choral Festival (LICF). The choral group received a formal invitation to the festival in 2015, and made the trip following a year of preparation.

“I was so honored that our students were chosen to be a part of such a wonderful event,” said James Plunkett, the school’s choir director. “The St. Lucy’s singers did an amazing job and were well received by audiences and the event organizers and directors.”

The LICF invites young choirs to come together and share the joy of vocal music. LICF works in partnership with London’s New Year’s Day Parade and Festival, to bring exciting opportunities to young singers.
