Students from grades 1 through 8 in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles are invited to participate in the Our Lady Fatima art contest in honor of the 100th anniversary of the apparition of the Blessed Mother at Fatima. The winner will receive a $100 cash prize.
Students are invited to submit artwork depicting the Fatima apparitions, which should reflect the Fatima message. All art submissions should be presented on 8.5-inch by 11-inch paper.
All entries should be sent to: St. James School, 4625 Garnet Street, Torrance, CA 90503. Please print “Fatima” on the bottom right-hand corner of the envelope. The back of each entry should include the participant’s full name, grade, school and address. If the first place winner attends a Catholic school, the school will receive $50.
Entries will not be returned. The submission deadline is May 2.
