Msgr. Bernard M. Leheny is the new episcopal vicar for the San Pedro Pastoral Region — a role he assumed on March 28 following the formal announcement from the archbishop of Los Angeles.
Archbishop José H. Gomez said in a statement, “Msgr. Leheny has served in the archdiocese for many decades, including many years in the San Pedro Pastoral Region.”
He added his gratitude toward Msgr. Leheny for accepting the appointment, saying, “I know you will welcome and support him as he assumes his duties as episcopal vicar.”
