AMemorial Mass will be held Aug. 30, 7 p.m., at St. Michael Church in Los Angeles for Martha N√∫√±ez, who died Aug. 25 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.A longtime staff member in the archdiocesan Office of Religious Education, she served as director of the Spanish Young Adult Ministry from the ’80s up to 2004. From 2004 to 2012, she was ORE’s director of the Bible Institute. Her coworkers recall N√∫√±ez’ giftedness, faith and commitment in pouring out her life in love and enthusiasm for sharing the Gospel.
