Rev. David Purdy, S.D.B.

Rev. David Purdy, S.D.B. died Monday, May 5, 2025. He was 85 years old.

Father David was a religious order priest who was ordained on March 21, 1970, for the Salesians of St. John Bosco. While serving in the Archdiocese these were his assignments:

• Teacher, Don Bosco High School, Rosemead
• Teacher, Resident, St. John Bosco High School, Bellflower
• Principal, Teacher, Bishop Mora Salesian High School, Los Angeles

 Services are as follows:

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 666 Filbert St., San Francisco, CA. Interment will follow immediately at Salesian Cemetery, 2815 Salesian Ave., Richmond, CA 94804.
