Father Perry D. Leiker died Saturday, February 14, 2026. He was 76 years old.
Father Perry was ordained a priest for Archdiocese of Los Angeles on May 29, 1976 . While serving as a priest in the archdiocese, these were his assignments:
- Associate Pastor, SS. Felicitas and Perpetua Church, San Marino
- Associate Pastor, St. Mark Church, Venice
- Administrator, Associate Pastor, SS. Peter and Paul Church, Wilmington
- Pastor, Mother of Sorrows Church, Los Angeles
- Pastor, St. Joseph Church, Hawthorne
- Pastor, Administrator, St. Bernard, Los Angeles
Father Perry also served on the board for The Tidings for many years.
A funeral Mass will be held Monday, Mar. 2, at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, 2500 W. Ave. 33, Los Angeles, CA, 90065, at 323-255-2351. Interment will be a later date.
