Father Michael J. Carcerano died Saturday, February 14, 2026. He was 75 years old.
Father Michael was ordained a priest for Archdiocese of Los Angeles on May 29, 1976 . While serving as a priest in the archdiocese, these were his assignments:

- Resident, Mary Health of the Sick Convalescent Hospital, Newbury Park
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Holy Cross Cemetery (Risen Christ Chapel), 5835 W. Slauson Ave., Culver City, CA 90230, 310-836-5500.
- Viewing: 10-11:45 a.m.
- Requiem Mass (Extraordinary Form): 12-1 p.m. Clergy are welcome to be seated in choir (cassock and surplice), no concelebration
- Graveside service to follow immediately after Mass
