Father Gregory Goethals, S.J., died Monday, November 24, 2025. He was 70 years old.
Father Gregory was a religious order priest who was ordained on June 4, 1988, for the Society of Jesus. While serving in the archdiocese these were his assignments:

Funeral Mass: Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, at 1 p.m., at Loyola High School, 1901 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90006. Priests wishing to concelebrate are asked to bring alb and stole. You can view the livestream here.
Interment: Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at 1 p.m., at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St., Santa Clara, CA 95050.
