A three-Saturday course on dismissal catechesis in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) will be held beginning Aug. 3 at Mount St. Mary’s College’s Doheny Campus in Los Angeles.“Dismissal Catechesis 101” will be led by Catherine Shadduck, director of RCIA at Padre Serra Parish in Camarillo, and a member of the archdiocesan initiation committee. Additional sessions are scheduled Aug. 10 and 17.The course is part of the Ecclesia Program, Mount St. Mary’s continuing education or professional development program of workshops for church workers.
