Saint Barbara Parish has raised over $59,000 for its Together in Mission campaign, reaching 94 percent of its $63,300 goal.
With only $3,794 left to raise, the historic Franciscan mission is asking Catholics to consider a sacrificial Lenten offering in order to directly assist 80 schools and parishes in the archdiocese that are supported by Together in Mission, including Santa Barbara’s two historic missions.
The funds were raised over a span of four weeks, and the parish hopes continued generous support from parishioners and other donors will allow them to reach or even surpass their goal.
