The Crespi Carmelite High School board of directors has announced the selection of Ken Foersch as the next president of the Encino school. Foersch assumed the position of president on July 1, 2015, succeeding Father Tom Batsis, who had served as Crespi’s president since November 2012.
“It is a great honor to join the Crespi family and to carry on the great legacy of leaders like Father Batsis,” said Foersch. “I cannot wait to begin working with the entire Crespi community to build on its successes and to take Crespi into the future.”
Foersch was formerly the principal of St. Andrews Catholic School in Old Pasadena. Prior to that post, he served as assistant principal, dean of students, teacher and football coach at Servite High School in Anaheim. He obtained a doctorate of education from the University of Southern California, and earned his master’s degree in education administration from California State University Fresno, where he also went to undergraduate school.
“We believe Dr. Foersch will provide the necessary leadership to move Crespi Carmelite to the next level of excellence,” said Father William Harry, Carmelite provincial and chair of Crespi’s board of members. “We think he will work well with the current administration and faculty to ensure that Crespi maintains a holistic program which prepares its students for their futures.”
