Three Catholic school teams have advanced to the finals of the CIF-SS Softball Tournament after Semifinal victories on May 29. One game was an all-Catholic affair, as Serra routed Marymount 10-3.
Finals will be played June 1 and 2 at Deanna Manning Stadium, Irvine. The semifinal results:
Division 5: Chaminade d. Culver City 6-5. Finals: Chaminade vs. J.W. North.
Division 6: Mary Star d. Carnegie/Riverside 5-2. Finals: Mary Star vs. Highland.
Division 7: Serra d. Marymount 10-3; The Archer School for Girls d.San Gabriel Mission 4-0. Finals: Serra vs. The Archer School for Girls.
