InrnDivision 1, Loyola remained third, Alemany rose from ninth to seventh and MaterrnDei is tied for ninth. Bishop Montgomery continued its rise, from sixth tornfifth in D-2; Damien remained ninth in D-3; and Providence of Burbank held ontornseventh in D-4.

Inrnsoftball, La Reina continued its push among Division 5 teams, gaining fromrnsixth to third, while Chaminade rose from eighth to sixth. La Reina entered thernweek 10-3 with a share of the Tri-Valley League lead at 4-1 after beatingrnleague co-leaders Santa Paula last week, 1-0; the teams play again May 9.

Oncernagain, Mater Dei is sixth and Santa Margarita eighth in D-1, heading towardsrntheir April 27 rematch in Santa Ana. In D-7, San Gabriel Mission continued torngain, rising from sixth to fourth, but former No. 1 Santa Clara dropped fromrnsecond to seventh, and St. Mary’s Academy slipped from seventh to ninth.

Inrnbaseball, Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks fell from third to ninth in the Division 1rnpoll after being swept in a three-game series by Mission League leaderrnHarvard-Westlake. J.Serra dropped from fifth to tenth in D-1 after losing twornof three Trinity League games to Orange Lutheran last week.

Cantwell-SacredrnHeart entered the Division 3 top 10 in ninth place, while in D-5, Mary Starrnrose from sixth to fifth, and St. Joseph/Santa Maria entered the poll at No. 7.
