Basketball teams from Providence/Burbank (boys) and Bishop Diego (girls) are atop their respective divisions, according to the latest CIF-Southern Section rankings issued Jan. 6.
A host of Catholic school cage squads are ranked second or third as league play heats up this month prior to the start of playoff competition in February. This week’s rankings by division:
