Two Catholic school golfers have qualified for this week’s CIF-SCGA Foundation Southern California Girls’ Golf Championship in Pasadena.

Liana Brown, a junior from Notre Dame/Sherman Oaks, and Ryan Bullock, a freshman from Santa Margarita, placed in the top 28 during the individual portion of the CIF-SCGA team qualifier tournament held Nov. 7 at Western Hills Golf & Country Club in Chino Hills.

Brown shot 74, good for fourth, while Bullock fired a 78. The top 28 individual players (who are not on a team who qualified) advance to the CIF-SCGA Foundation event on Nov. 14 at Brookside Golf Course, Pasadena.

Collectively, Notre Dame carded a score of 407, sixth best in the field of 12 teams. The top four teams earned spots in the Nov. 14 team event, which will be followed by the state championships on Nov. 19 at Poppy Hills Golf Course, Pebble Beach.
