The CIF-Southern Section Boys Volleyball Tournament begins on Tuesday, April 30.
Fifteen Catholic school teams qualify for the first round of the CIF-SS Boys Volleyball tournament.
Division 1: San Clemente hosts Santa Margarita; Loyola hosts Laguna Beach; Servite hosts Huntington Beach.
Division 2: Alemany hosts Simi Valley; El Segundo hosts Bishop Montgomery; Burroughs (Burbank) hosts Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks); Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana) hosts Orange Lutheran.
Division 3: La Salle hosts Crescenta Valley.
Division 4: Torrance hosts St. Monica Catholic; Paraclete hosts Providence (Burbank); St. Anthony hosts California.
Division 5: El Modena hosts Cathedral.
Division 6: Don Bosco Tech hosts International School of Los Angeles; Avalon hosts St. Pius X - St. Matthias Academy; St. Bernard hosts Western Christian.
In wild card games played April 27, Cathedral defeated Malibu in 3 straight sets in Division 5.
In wild card games to be played April 29, Hart will host St. Francis (Division 2) at 6pm. The winner will face Saddleback Valley Christian.
