Before leaving for the Synod of Bishops on Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment, Archbishop José H. Gomez met with high school students from around the Archdiocese to listen to the issues of importance of our youth in Los Angeles and to share their voices at the Synod in Rome.

Immigration is a vital concern for Catholic youth everywhere in the world and has been discussed a lot during the Synod. Young people from LA also asked the archbishop to share their concerns on immigration with Pope Francis.
