St. Vincent de Paul’s camp and retreat center welcomes Juan Arambul as their new program and development director. Arambul will take on this newly created role in a full-time capacity in June. The announcement was made on March 20.

Circle V Ranch Camp & Retreat Center serves as a summer camp for boys and girls ages 7 to 13. A Camp Leadership Training program is also available to boys and girls ages 14 to 17. A camp session runs for a total of six days and five nights.

Ray Lopez, the camp director, called Arambul a “trailblazer” and said, “his creative ability to acknowledge needs and adjust accordingly is what keeps [campers] interested and coming back.”

More than 1,200 children attended the camp during the summer of 2014. Camp sports include hiking, archery, swimming, baseball, ping pong, soccer and miniature golf, among others. Camp activities include nature classes, arts and crafts, painting, campfires, singing and skit performances.

In 2014, Juan graduated magna cum laude from California Baptist University in Communications. His prior work includes acting as the assistant basketball and track coach at Sherman Indian High School in Riverside.

The camp is located at California 154, Santa Barbara, CA. For more information, please call (805) 688-5252 or visit circlevranchcamp.org.
