On April 25, St. Cyril of Jerusalem Parish hosted a casino night, complete with dealers and games of blackjack, roulette and craps. The proceeds of the event went to St. Cyril of Jerusalem School.
The parish hall was at full capacity with attendees that included Father Eben (“Mac”) MacDonald, St. Cyril parishioners and St. Cyril School faculty, families and alumni. The atmosphere was festive, filled with laughter and good cheer.
Mr. and Mrs. Mero won the Jackpot Dinner with Father Mac and Father Carlo. Other winners walked away with either a weeklong stay in Yosemite, a weekend at a beachfront condo in Oxnard, restaurant gift certificates or baskets with various prizes.
“The food and drink was excellent, the auction offerings were incredible and the bar was amazing,” said Jack Briscoe, a parent at St. Cyril School.
