St. Andrew Church’s annual “Bach to Broadway” concert on Sept. 19 (7:30 p.m.) features the award-winning Los Angeles Children’s Chorus (LACC) and a trio from the Grammy-nominated Los Angeles Master Chorale.

This marks the LACC’s first performance at the Pasadena church. Two separate Children’s Chorus ensembles will perform: the Concert Choir under the direction of Anne Tomlinson, and the Young Men's Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Steven Kronauer.

The concert is also a rare opportunity to see members of the Master Chorale perform away from their home stage at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The Master Chorale’s Swan Family Composer in Residence, Shawn Kirchner, will lead a trio of singers that includes soprano Karen Hogle Brown and baritone Scott Graff.

The “Bach to Broadway” concerts fund the ongoing restorations of the church that was built in 1927 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

A courtyard reception with appetizers, dessert, Prosecco and wine follow the performance. For tickets and more information, call (626) 792-4183.
