Oblate of Mary Immaculate Father Juan Gaspar blessed the new transitional kindergarten classroom and outdoor playground at Santa Rosa Bishop Alemany Elementary School Oct. 6.
Thirteen TK students and a handful of proud parents, accompanied by principal Andre Nicdao and teacher Elvia Galvez, were present for the early morning ceremony, which included the sprinkling of holy water by Father Gaspar in all corners of the San Fernando classroom.
The TK room is at one end of the new parish center building, which was officially dedicated by San Fernando Region Auxiliary Bishop Gerald Wilkerson on Aug. 23. The parish engaged in fundraisers for over 20 years to replace the old parish center with a new building between the church and the K-8 school building.
