The Office for Worship (OFW) of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles will offer two new faith formation programs during April and May.

The OFW will present the two-part workshop “Infant Baptism Team Training” on April 23 and April 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle School, located at 2632 W. 15th St. in Los Angeles. The cost is $30 per person.

Participants will discuss the four steps of the baptismal process. Topics will include the role of the catechist, reviewing of the rite, discerning a conversion and discerning the readiness of the parents and godparents.

In May, parish musicians from across the archdiocese are invited to attend “Morning of Reflection and Renewal” on May 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program will be presented at St. Jerome Church, located at 5550 Thornburn St. in Los Angeles

The event will feature keynote speaker Father Chris Bazyouros, director of the Office of Religious Education. Musicians will have the opportunity to network with one another and find support.
