Mount St. Mary’s University will host a bible study workshop entitled “Reading the Gospel of Luke” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 29 on the university’s Doheny campus.

Jesuit Father Felix Just, Ph.D., executive director of the Loyola Institute for Spirituality, will speak at the event. The day-long workshop will be the first class in a three-part series on reading, praying and living the Gospel of Luke. Father Just will explore its structure and contents, how it was written and how it influenced the growth and development of Christianity.  

The cost for the workshop is $25 per person for each class or $60 for the series. For each workshop, a rate of $20 per person is available for groups of five or more registering together.
