The members of the Hamilton High School Choir will join the Dream Orchestra and the Opera Chorus of Los Angeles to perform Stabat Mater by Rossini on March 4 at 8 p.m. at St. Monica Church in Santa Monica.

Under the direction of Kelci Hahn, the choir will take the stage with world-class opera soprano Shana Blake Hill, tenor Hak Soo Kim and bass Patrick Blackwell. Sixteen-year-old soprano Golda Berkman will sing the Second Movement of Górecki’s Symphony No. 3.

“This will be a wonderful opportunity for the Hamilton High singers to perform alongside and learn from professionals of the Opera Chorus … which features the top singers from the L.A. Opera and the Los Angeles Master Chorale,” said Daniel Suk, artistic director of Dream Orchestra.

The concert will take place at St. Monica’s, located at 725 California Ave., Santa Monica, to be followed by a free reception from Urth Caffé. Tickets are $40 each for general admission, or $30 for students and senior citizens.
