With the 2020 Los Angeles Marathon less than 6 months away, the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) is looking for a few good runners.

At this year’s marathon, a running team of 17 local Catholic schoolteachers, administrators, students, parents, and CEF staff raised more than $65,000 for tuition scholarships for low-income students to attend Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

For next year’s marathon on March 8, 2020, CEF is inviting people to participate as Marathon Runners, Half-Marathon Runners, or “Virtual Runners” as part of their “Run For Our Kids LA Marathon Charity Challenge.”

CEF Racing Team members will meet regularly as a team to build camaraderie and stay updated with training, fundraising tips and to meet new members. The team enters the 35th Anniversary of the Los Angeles Marathon as a Featured Charity this year and are looking to have over 40 runners running the Stadium-to-Sea course.
