All Souls World Language Catholic School recently hosted its second annual jog-a-thon with City of Alhambra Councilmember Gary Yamauchi on hand to support the school’s mission of fostering healthy minds and bodies.

“All Souls World Language Catholic School is to be commended as it continues to grow and mold young minds in a diverse and language immersion environment,” Yamauchi said.

Students, teachers and parents walked and jogged around the race course to music selections provided by a DJ. Funds raised at the event will support the school’s curriculum.

Principal Carrie Fuller noted the importance of parent participation while thanking volunteers for their hard work. “I’m truly grateful to all the volunteers that organized this event. The enthusiasm and support of our school families is unmatched,” Fuller said. “I know that parent involvement is one of the pillars of a truly successful school that serves the whole child.”
