The beneficiary of the 2014 Cardinal’s Award Dinner, St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo, played host to the annual honoree luncheon Jan. 15 that formally introduced the four recipients of the 2014 Cardinal’s Award.
This year’s recipients --- Louis Castruccio and Janet Feeley of St. Paul the Apostle Church, Westwood; R-lene Mijares deLang of St. Andrew Church, Pasadena; and Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Sartoris --- have extensive and distinguished records of service in their church and community.
Proceeds from the March 1 Cardinal’s Award Dinner, to be held at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, will benefit dormitory improvements at St. John’s Seminary, which celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2014, and whose current enrollment is the highest in years.
