Incarnation School’s eighth grade class and special guest performers participated in a benefit concert at the Glendale parish for Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles April 21. The eighth graders have been fundraising for the hospital over the course of the school year after their classmate, Brittany Lanham, was diagnosed with leukemia last spring.
Proceeds from the concert and other fundraisers totaled more than $4,000 — well beyond the class goal of $2,000. Lanham, who recently completed her chemotherapy treatment, was among several vocalists who performed at the show, including sixth grader Ben Rosales fronting his band, “The Breaks.”
