On Nov. 1, Calvary Catholic Cemetery will celebrate Día de Los Muertos with a Mass at 1 p.m., followed by children’s activities, folk dancing, music and light refreshments.

Altars for deceased loved ones can be constructed on Oct. 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or on Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. For detailed information about altar space, dimensions and specifics, please contact Alice Takamiyashiro at (213) 637-7810. Please note that space is limited, and individuals will be served on a first come, first served basis. The event is free of charge.
